1st Impression
1st Impressions
The goal is for every person who enters our building to feel seen and wanted.
Positions:
· Front doors
· Only team captain (or their designee) stands in the welcome booth
· If you have someone who needs to sit, put a chair by the door so they can sit and still welcome people.
· Extra people, roam the café, introducing yourselves.
Process in Welcome booth:
· Stand facing the front doors
· SMILE
· Be ready to answer questions (if you don’t know an answer, say, “I’ll find out for you.”)
· Look for people who may be visiting by themselves and get a team member to go introduce themselves.
· Do NOT have private conversations with friends while on duty. Gently tell them you can talk to them after the service.
· Get 1st time guest bags out and ready during the last song.
· Put 1st time guest bags away after most guests have left
