Troy and Denise Hythecker have attended the Vineyard since December 2003.  They started leading a small group in November 2004. 

Denise was born and raised in Nebraska and Troy was raised DeWitt, Iowa.  They met in college and were married in October 2003.

Troy is employed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and is the Assistant Pastor here at the VCD.  Troy enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with his friends and family.   Denise has her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Special Education.   Denise is a teacher at Hayes Elementary school in Davenport and enjoys knitting and outdoor activities.

David and Cassandra have been attending the Vineyard since 2004. They are originally from San Diego, CA. where they were high-school sweethearts. David and Cassandra were married in May 29, 2003 in Honolulu, Hawaii. They have two daughters, Nevaeh and Sienna. David works at the Rock Island Arsenal, and Cassandra works at Advanced Imaging Center as an X-ray/Mammography Tech. David enjoys playing/watching sports, playing poker, and spending time with friends and family.  Cassandra enjoys relaxing, hanging out with friends, and spending time with Nevaeh and Sienna.

Our group is currently made up of people in thier mid 20's to early 30's. Some of us are single and some of us are married. Some of us have kids (age 0 to 10) and some of us don't have kids. A few of are still taking college classes and most of us are not. Some of us are super quiet and some of us talk a lot. We all like to hang out together doing activities like: board games, camping, cards (including poker), hiking, knitting, rappelling, eating, hunting, and whatever else we can come up with at the spur of the moment.

Kyle, age 30, is a property manager.  Amy, age 29, is a musician/ student/ adjunct college teacher and manager of Kyle and Kyle's property.  We were married in July of 2002 in Jamaica with our feet in the water.  We don't have kids yet, but we would like to in the future.

Our group is great for high school graduates, college students, or any young adult who wants to hang out and grow in their relationship with God.

Adam and Kim grew up in small-town NE Iowa. They are graduates of University of Northern Iowa, where they came to know a God more real than anything they had ever experienced before.

They recently moved to the Quad Cities and joined us at the Vineyard in 2008. Adam is almost always up for anything active- fishing, golf, hunting, running, mountain biking, and snow-shoeing. Kim enjoys camping, making jewelry, reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends

Here is a bit about us. We have been married since 2003 and have attended the Vineyard since 2007. We live in west Davenport with our coddled one-year-old daughter, Sylvia and our lazy dog and cat, Ludwig and Katze, both of whom are currently unemployed.
Matt grew up here in Davenport and works at Lovewell Fence. He is an avid triathlete, golfer, Chicago Bears fan and enjoys discovering obscure indie rock bands online.
Jess grew up in Wisconsin and is currently employed by Sylvia as a Home Arts Specialist. She babysits and does calligraphy for weddings out of their home, and is blessed to be a Green Bay Packer fan. When so inclined she can play a mean accordion.
